I sat in front of Mike in several classes and remember him as a shy but very funny person.  Mike left an impresion on me and for some reason over the years I have thought of him often.  I was saddened when he passed away.

I went to freshman orientation at Lousiana Tech with Mike in summer of 1981.  Although he only thought of me as a friend and actually called me " the nose knows" on many occasions.  We grew to be great friends.  He didn't ever feel really good because he had tachycardia and his heart felt like it was beating out of this chest.  One time he told me he wasn't going to live past age 21 and he was right about that.  I do remember his kindness and he was also very handsome boy.  I will always remember him as one of my first funerals that I attended.  There were so many people there because he was very loved.
